Congressman Dean Phillips’s Youth Advisory Council is an annual opportunity for high school students to engage with their peers and Rep. Phillips on the policy issues that are important to them. As members of the Council, students will have the opportunity to meet with Rep. Phillips to ask questions of him and share their perspectives with him on matters coming before the U.S. House of Representatives.

The Youth Advisory Council is open to students living or attending school in Minnesota's Third Congressional District who will be in grades 9-12 as of September 2023. To apply, students must fill out our application form and write a one-page cover letter explaining why they would like to join the Council to David at David.Chernack@mail.house.gov. The application deadline is Thursday, June 22, 2023.
