Transportation Funding Requests

Federal highway and public transportation programs are funded through multi-year surface transportation authorization acts. The current surface transportation program authorization expires on September 30, 2021. The Committee on Transportation and Infrastructure will advance surface transportation authorization legislation later this spring, building on H.R. 2, the “Moving Forward Act,” from the 116th Congress. Member offices had the opportunity to seek highway and transit designations eligible under title 23, United States Code, and chapter 53 of title 49, United States. Project requests were due to the Office of Rep.
