MAPLE GROVE, MN —Rep. Dean Phillips (MN-03), in partnership with the Vietnam War Commemoration program, will pay tribute to Vietnam-era veterans through a commemoration ceremony. Nominated Vietnam-era veterans – or a surviving family member – living in Minnesota’s Third Congressional District will be honored with a commemorative lapel pin and certificate of special recognition.  

Phillips’s father, Artie Pfeffer, served in Vietnam. He died in a helicopter crash when the Congressman was a child. Last year, CNN reported on audio that Phillips discovered of tapes of his father before he passed away.
