Minnesota's Third Congressional District includes the suburbs of Hennepin and Anoka counties to the west, south, and north of Minneapolis. With more than 700,000 residents and 20,000 businesses large and small, the Third District is a vibrant and engaged community, boasting the highest voter turnout in the country in 2018 and 2020, and the highest 2020 Census self-response rate. The Third District encompasses 468 square miles and is home to the Mall of America and historic Lake Minnetonka.
