Community Conversation on Fiscal Responsibility

Monday, December 16, 2019 | 6:30 PM Minnetonka
Monday, December 16, 2019 - 6:30 PM to 6:30 PM
18301 MN-7
Minnetonka, MN 5345

Join Rep. Dean Phillips for a free and open-to-the-public community conversation on fiscal responsibility and economic growth. Phillips will moderate a solutions-focused discussion with a panel of experts before taking questions from the audience. With a $1 trillion deficit, a $22 trillion debt, and $400 billion in annual interest payments, we’re on a dangerous fiscal path. Minnesotans of all political persuasions are invited to share perspectives and ideas for injecting fiscal responsibility into our national discourse.

Following the conversation, community members of all ages are invited to participate in a workshop held in conjunction with The Concord Coalition — a non-partisan organization that focuses on addressing the national debt. Facilitators will lead an interactive workshop in which participants will work together in small groups to create their own federal budget.
